Megan and Greg {Fruitvale, BC Wedding}

I am not sure that I have ever met a couple as wildly in love with each other as Megan and Greg. When these two look at each other, you can almost literally see the sparks sizzling between them. It was an absolute joy to watch them exchange vows.

Megan and Greg very sweetly decided to mix things up at their wedding. Rather than exchange their personalized vows during the ceremony in front of an audience, they opted to share the vows they had written for each other  privately-- during their first look. I thought that this was extremely touching and such a wonderful, personal touch on their special day.

One of the best things about the Kootenay Weddings is that 'backyard wedding' tends to mean 'acres of rolling hills, private forest, and manicured lawn' and this wedding was no exception! What a perfect spot.

After the ceremony, guests mingled and caught up amongst fruit trees heavy with late-summer fruit. The children ran around barefoot amongst the raspberry and strawberry bushes, and there wasn't a single face without a smile. The entire event felt relaxed, easy, and so full of love. Exactly the way a wedding should be, in my opinion.
