 I first met Chantel and Jesse last June when I came to Creston, BC to photograph their engagement. We had been exchanging emails for months at that point, so I was excited to finally put faces to names! When I met them I was immediately struck by their warm, incredibly friendly personalities and gorgeous smiles. They are truly a beautiful couple-- inside and out. Their engagement session was so much fun. I drove home that day basically counting down the days until I would get to see them again at their wedding. Luckily for me, I didn't have to wait long! Their big day came just a few months later, on September 2. This wedding was tender, sweet, and full of happiness from start to finish. Jesse and Chantel shared a private prayer just before walking down the aisle that absolutely had me misty eyed... and let me tell you, it's rare that I shed a tear before the vows even start! Creston Weddings are quickly becoming some of my favourite Kootenay weddings. I'm speaking generally here, but they tend to have a rustic charm that so appeals to me, and the couples are always warm and down to earth. It doesn't hurt that the Creston Valley landscape is absolutely beautiful and the vendors in that area are a joy to work with. (Just take a look at the florals and incredible dessert table here!! Props to Brittany's Flower Farm, and Luv at First Bite Desserts!) All in all, another flawless Kootenay Wedding with a flawless Kootenay Couple on a flawless Kootenay day.
