Brittany and Spencer Say I Do {Nakusp Wedding Photographer}

The Kootenays is a small place. Not geographically, but socially and in terms of amenities. As such, when you are wedding photographer, you tend to shoot at the same venues over and over again. This is ok because every couple puts their own special touch into decorating and doing up a space and it's always fun to see how they make it their own. But I'd be lying if I said that it wasn't refreshing to shoot somewhere entirely new every so often. 

And that is why I loved Brittany and Spencer's wedding so much! My second shooter and I got to travel out to beautiful Nakusp, BC where the wedding ceremony was hosted on the Groom's family's property. The views of Upper Arrow Lake from their yard were absolutely stunning.  Wow!

When I first heard that the reception was going to be at "Senior Citizens Recreation Center", I'll admit that I was a bit unsure of what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised to arrive to find a very warm, welcoming, log-cabin style building with a ton of charm. It hosted B&S's 80 guests perfectly.
