A Kootenay Boho Maternity Session {Trail BC Maternity Photographer}

When I acquired this beautiful vintage peacock chair, I knew that I needed to do something special with it. My heart is forever with maternity clients, so it felt natural that I would organize a boho maternity styled session. I knew that the chair was wonderful, but incredible florals is what would make this session extraordinary, so I reached out to Olea Floral in Rossland, BC about a collaboration. Liv, with Olea, eagerly agreed to get on board, and with that I was off to the races!

My gorgeous expecting-mama model is Megan, a 2019 bride of mine. By some miracle she didn't run away screaming when I reached out to her out of the blue and asked her to let me take semi-nude photos of her. Amazing.

And then Jasmine Alyse of Luca Hair and Esthetics got on board to create a seriously beautiful boho down-do.

With this amazing team of people, my dream of a boho inspired, moody, slightly-sexy maternity session came together better than I could have imagined. It was also an excellent opportunity for me to try out some of my newest Client Closet pieces, and all of them were total winners. Absolutely everything that Megan is wearing here can be borrow, at no additional charge, by my clients for their sessions. 

I can't thank this team of talented individuals enough for lending their time and skills. And of course, I am wishing beautiful Megan nothing but the best with the final weeks of her pregnancy. I sure can't wait to see that baby girl's face!
