Sandi and Liam tied the knot in one of the most unique venues that I have ever had the opportunity to shoot in:: Nelson's Civic Theatre. Standing up on a stage, while their nearest and dearest sat below in velvet seats with bags of popcorn in their laps, they exchanged their vows and were introduced as the first time as husband and wife. Fabulous!
After the ceremony I was able to sneak away with the wedding party for photo op after photo op. We shot in luscious parks, vibrant alleys, and even a historic trolley. Every where you look in Nelson, BC there's a beautiful little nook or cranny just begging to have it's photo taken. You just can not go wrong!
We met back up with the guests at the newly renovated Taghum Hall on the banks of Kootenay Lake. As the sun went down, ending a perfect day, guests were treated to juicy burgers and scrumptious poutine from 'Fresh Tracks' Food Truck (of White Water Cooks fame). A treat indeed! Dancing and revelry continued into the night, with Sandi & Liam's incredible smiles lighting up the dance floor. Congratulations to these two wonderful people! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your most important day.
