Newly engaged Tara and Taylor came to me in mid December inquiring about wedding coverage and an engagement session. This fabulous Albertan couple fell in love with the Kootenays while visiting a friend in Nelson and it was love at first sight. They are now not only scoping it out as the location for their 2017 wedding, but also as a potential future place to call home.
It is easy to take where you live for granted, but in meeting & chatting with Tara and Taylor I was reminded of how fortunate I am to call this beautiful corner of of the planet Home. Our hot, relaxing summers give way to colourful, crisp falls. Our falls turn into snowy, pristine winters, which melt seamlessly into lush, green springs. Each of the four seasons here in the Kootenays is absolutely stunning. How lucky we are!
Tara and Taylor are still in the beginning stages of wedding planning and have a long way to go before their big day starts to materialize, but I so hope that Wanderlust Photography is a part of the plans. They were such a blast to work with-- nothing but genuine smiles and laughter. I have no doubts that their wedding will be an event to remember.
Congratulations, you two!
